The group came together in 1972 as "Profascination." In 1978, they entered a talent contest from a local radio station, WBOK, winning first place. This affrorded the group their first studio recording which was released in 1980. The songs were entitled "Something On My Mind", "Overpowering Love", "Try Love Again", and "Wrap You In My Arms." In 1992, the group was renamed "BRW." The acronym "BRW" encompasses the names of its members: Billy, Rohillion, and Wayne. The group incorporates three part harmony with a high energy performance that is reminiscent of such legendary groups as the O'Jays, The Temptations, Solo, and Boys II Men. They began their professional career by performing for community events. This eventually led to shows at local night clubs and casinos such as: Bugsby's, Club Whispers, What's Next, Star Casino, and Adeaux's 30 Something. Several people after seeing their performance recommended the group to their friends and business associates. "BRW's" popularity has flourished. They have performed at several other clubs over the years such as: The House Of Blues, The Legendary Dew Drop Inn, Muddy Waters, The New Showcase Lounge Margueritaville, The Fairmont Blue Room, and Pampy's. In recent years they've performed at Bally's Casino(NOLA), Treasure Chest Casino(Kenner, LA), Harrahs Casino(NOLA), Casino Magic(Biloxi, MS), Beau Rivage(Biloxi), Boomtown Casino(Westbank), Imperial Palace(Biloxi), Grand Casino(Biloxi), Isle of Capri Casino(Vicksburg, MS), Horizon Casino(Vicksburg, MA), and Silver Slipper Casino(Bay St. Louis, MS). They have also perfomed at local Clubs such as Bullets Sports Bar, Seals Class Act, Perfect Fit, and Jazz Emporium Night Club & Restaurant(Bourbon Street). They have performed at private functions such as World Trade Center, Orleans Country Club, Audubon Tea Room, Court of Two Sisters, etc. They also Performs on the road such as Texas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama. For the past couple of years, BRW has donated their talents to a very needy foundation, (UNCF) along with appearances on local TV stations such as Channel 4(WWL) and Channel 6(WDSU). The group completed their first cassette released in early November, 1996. A second CD was released in 1998 entitled "Love Passions." P.S. "The Best Way To Fulfill A Dream Is To Keep It Alive"!
